Important Dates

  • Full paper submission: extended to June 14th, 2010.
  • Notification of acceptance: August 15th, 2010.

Presentations

Oral Presentations

Oral presentations will be 15 minutes: 12 for presentation and 3 for questions.

PowerPoint will be available for presenation.

For oral presentations each conference room will have the following equipment:

  • Desktop computer
  • LCD projector
  • Screen

Posters

Authors can download the template here.

All papers accepted for poster presentation will presented at the Conference Poster Session (CPS) on Nov 9th from 15:00h to 16:00h. At least one of the authors must be available during the session.

Each poster must be put on its respective frame until 14:30h and removed from 16:00h up to 16:15h. There will be a list of posters and its respective positions. Posters might be hanged or sticked on the frame using double face tape.

Authors must be aware about possible restrictions when carrying posters inside the airplane cabine (specially for international flights): wood or plastic sticks that might be used for hanging the posters are not allowed. In this case, the poster must be sent with your luggage.

Publication Policy

Authors are invited to submit full, original, unpublished papers that are not being considered for publication in any other forum. Papers must be presented in a scientific format with relevant theoretical and/or practical results related to the topics of the event.

Papers solely promoting products and/or services of companies will not be accepted.

Manuscript Submission

Authors are kindly requested to strictly adhere to language, format, and electronic file requirements described below. In addition, authors should accept the principles of peer review.

Language

English, Spanish and Portuguese are the working language of the conference. However, only papers in English are eligible for publication on the IEEE Xplore® online digital library and EI Compendex database.

Templates

Papers are limited to six (6) A4 sized sheets, and must conform to the IEEE two-column format for conference papers. Submissions exceeding 6 pages will not be accepted.

Do NOT insert any headers, footers, or page numbers.

Templates are available here in .doc, .pdf, and LaTeX formats. Due to unavoidable differences between computer programs, authors may detect very slight differences between these three templates. Papers following any of these three templates, and conforming to IEEE PDF requirements, will be acceptable.
