O IEEE WIE UFBA tem o prazer de apresentar o projeto “Enedina Marques”. Este nome é altamente representativo, homenageando a primeira engenheira negra do Brasil. Enedina Marques formou-se em 1945 na Escola de Engenharia da Universidade Federal do Paraná (UFPR).

O projeto consiste em uma série de webinars voltados para a disseminação de conhecimento em diversas áreas da engenharia e tecnologia, com cada sessão sendo conduzida por uma mulher especialista. O objetivo é celebrar e promover a participação feminina nesses campos, ampliando a visibilidade e o protagonismo de mulheres na área.

Este webinar que ocorreu dia 18/11/24 às 19h, teve como tema “Neuroengenharia: Inovações para Conhecimento, Cuidado e Potencialização do Sistema Nervoso” realizado pela Professora e Drª Carina Germer.

The IEEE WIE UFBA is pleased to present the “Enedina Marques” project. This name is highly representative, honoring the first Black female engineer in Brazil. Enedina Marques graduated in 1945 from the School of Engineering at the Federal University of Paraná (UFPR).

The project consists of a series of webinars focused on sharing knowledge in various fields of engineering and technology, with each session led by a female specialist. The objective is to celebrate and promote female participation in these fields, increasing visibility and leadership for women in the area.This webinar, held on November 18th 2024, at 7 PM, focused on the topic “Neuroengineering: Innovations for Understanding, Caring for, and Enhancing the Nervous System” and was presented by Professor Dr. Carina GermeR.
