On Saturday 21 December 2024, IEEE UFRN Student Branch volunteers were able to elect their directors for the Student Branch and the Student Branch Chapters of the Computer Society, the Power and Energy Society, the Engineering in Medicine and Biology Society, the Robotics and Automation Society, and the Women in Engineering Affinity Group.

Candidates for the Board of Directors presented their proposals for the 2025 term and their goals, and then the volunteer voters were able to confirm their decision via an online platform.
