O IEEE WIE UFBA tem o prazer de apresentar o projeto “Enedina Marques”. Este nome é altamente representativo, homenageando a primeira engenharia negra do Brasil. Enedina Marques formou-se em 1945 na Escola de Engenharia da Universidade Federal do Paraná (UFPR).  

O projeto consiste em uma série de webinars voltados para a difusão de conhecimento em diversas áreas da engenharia e tecnologia, com cada sessão sendo conduzida por uma mulher especialista. O objetivo é celebrar e promover a participação feminina nesses campos, ampliando a visibilidade e o protagonismo das mulheres na área.

Este webinar que ocorreu dia 04/12/24 às 19h, teve como tema “Defendendo a Infraestrutura Crítica: O Papel do Cybersecurity OT Engineer na Proteção de Sistemas Industriais” realizado por Emauela Paranhos.

The IEEE WIE UFBA is proud to present the “Enedina Marques” project. This name is highly symbolic, honoring the first Black female engineer in Brazil. Enedina Marques graduated in 1945 from the School of Engineering at the Federal University of Paraná (UFPR).

The project features a series of webinars aimed at spreading knowledge in various fields of engineering and technology, with each session led by a female specialist. The goal is to celebrate and promote female participation in these fields, increasing the visibility and leadership of women in the area.

This webinar, held on December 4, 2024, at 7:00 PM, focused on the topic “Defending Critical Infrastructure: The Role of the Cybersecurity OT Engineer in Protecting Industrial Systems” and was presented by Emanuela Paranhos.
