Meeting between officers from IEEE South Brazil and the Sociedade Brasileira de Bioengenharia (SBEB), Waldir Ventura Filho and Leonardo A Elias (Treasurers IEEE South Brazil and SBEB, respectively) discussed financial issues, specially regarding membership and conference registration fees.

The following day, Roberto Lavarello (VP IEEE EMBS), Arturo Forner-Cordero (Chapter EMBS Chair) and Sonia Malmonge (President-Elect SBEB) discussed strategic implementation of a partnership for future events.
