No dia 9 de novembro de 2024, foi realizado o primeiro encontro do projeto “Elas Lideram: Empreendedorismo Feminino”, na Escola EEF Sonho de Criança, em São Luís do Curu. O projeto em parceria com o grupo SIGHT UFC Fortaleza, marcou o início de uma jornada de aprendizado e inspiração voltada para as mulheres da comunidade. O objetivo principal desse primeiro momento foi apresentar o projeto e criar um espaço para conversas e trocas de experiências sobre empreendedorismo, assim como entender como ele se dá na comunidade.

As participantes foram introduzidas ao conceito de empreendedorismo feminino, com uma discussão simples e prática sobre o que significa empreender, as características de uma empreendedora e os benefícios que essa prática pode trazer, tanto para as mulheres quanto para a sua comunidade. Durante a conversa, foram abordados também temas como os desafios enfrentados por mulheres que desejam empreender, incluindo a falta de recursos financeiros, dificuldades de divulgação e preconceitos de gênero. Paralelamente, foram discutidas alternativas e soluções, como capacitação, apoio mútuo e o uso de ferramentas digitais para ampliar o alcance de negócios. As participantes contribuíram ativamente com suas ideias e experiências, enriquecendo ainda mais a conversa.

As participantes saíram animadas, sentindo-se mais seguras e encorajadas a buscar novas oportunidades para transformar suas habilidades em meios de renda. Foi o início de uma iniciativa que busca não só oferecer conhecimento, mas também fortalecer laços e promover mudanças reais na vida dessas mulheres.

On November 9, 2024, the first meeting of the project “Elas Lideram: Women’s Entrepreneurship” was held at EEF Sonho de Criança School in São Luís do Curu. The project, in partnership with the SIGHT UFC Fortaleza group, marked the beginning of a journey of learning and inspiration for the women of the community. The main goal of this initial meeting was to present the project and create a space for conversations and experience sharing about entrepreneurship, as well as to understand how it unfolds in the community.

Participants were introduced to the concept of women’s entrepreneurship through a simple and practical discussion about what it means to be an entrepreneur, the key characteristics of an entrepreneurial woman, and the benefits this practice can bring to women and their communities. During the discussion, topics such as the challenges faced by women who want to start a business, such as lack of financial resources, difficulties in promotion, and gender prejudice, were also addressed. At the same time, alternatives and solutions were explored, such as training, mutual support, and the use of digital tools to expand business reach. The participants actively contributed their ideas and experiences, further enriching the conversation.

The women left the meeting feeling enthusiastic, more confident, and encouraged to seek new opportunities to turn their skills into sources of income. This was the beginning of an initiative that aims not only to provide knowledge but also to strengthen bonds and promote real change in the lives of these women
