A Oficina de Cosméticos, realizada em 14 de dezembro de 2024, foi uma parceria entre o IEEE WIE UFC e a Liga Acadêmica de Cosmetologia (LACOS) da UFC. Voltada especialmente para a Engenharia Química, mas aberta a participantes de diferentes áreas, a oficina ofereceu uma vivência prática na fabricação de cosméticos, explorando a interseção entre ciência e criatividade.

O evento começou com uma apresentação teórica, onde os participantes aprenderam sobre os princípios ativos e compostos utilizados na produção de loções, cremes, gloss e gel, entendendo suas funções e benefícios de incorporação. Essa introdução foi a base para a etapa prática, que dividiu os participantes em quatro equipes supervisionadas por membros da LACOS. Cada equipe, após um sorteio, recebeu um cosmético específico para produzir. Assim, guiados pelo conhecimento apresentado, um manual de instruções e a orientação dos supervisores, os participantes realizaram a incorporação dos cosméticos designados. Na etapa final, houve uma discussão coletiva onde as equipes compartilharam os desafios enfrentados e os aprendizados adquiridos durante o processo.

A oficina terminou com a distribuição dos produtos fabricados, e foi uma oportunidade prática e colaborativa de explorar a aplicação de conceitos da Engenharia Química, destacando o potencial criativo e técnico na área de cosméticos.

The Cosmetics Workshop, held on December 14, 2024, was a collaboration between IEEE WIE UFC and the Academic League of Cosmetology (LACOS) at UFC. Primarily focused on Chemical Engineering but open to participants from various fields, the workshop provided a hands-on experience in cosmetic production, exploring the intersection of science and creativity.

The event began with a theoretical presentation where participants learned about the active principles and compounds used in the production of lotions, creams, gloss, and gel, understanding their functions and benefits in formulation. This introduction served as the foundation for the practical stage, during which participants were divided into four teams supervised by LACOS members. Each team, following a draw, was assigned a specific cosmetic product to create. Guided by the knowledge shared, an instruction manual, and support from the supervisors, the participants carried out the formulation of the assigned cosmetics. In the final stage, a collective discussion was held, allowing teams to share the challenges they faced and the lessons they learned throughout the process.

The workshop concluded with the distribution of the finished products and offered a practical and collaborative opportunity to explore the application of Chemical Engineering concepts, highlighting the creative and technical potential within the field of cosmetics.
