On November 29, 2024, from 9:00 AM to 12:00 AM, I attended the event organized by the IEEE UFMT Student Branch to celebrate the 140th anniversary of IEEE. The event took place at the MOFÃO auditorium, located in FAET at the Federal University of Mato Grosso (UFMT).
The program featured a lecture by Dr. Fillipe Matos de Vasconcelos, a professor at UFMT’s School of Engineering (ENE), on the topic “Neural Networks in Artificial Intelligence Applied to Engineering Problems.” The presentation covered both theoretical concepts and practical applications of neural networks in addressing complex engineering challenges, emphasizing the importance of this technology for innovation and problem-solving in the field.
The event offered a valuable opportunity for learning, discussion, and exchanging ideas with other participants, fostering greater engagement between the academic community and technological advancements in artificial intelligence.
