On this day, we demonstrated the operation of a locator using LoRa and an ESP32 to the members of the MTTS from our campus, where they could see the functionality of this equipment in practice. To do this, we divided the students into two groups: one group moved away from the other with an antenna, and the other group was able to track the antenna’s location on the map. After demonstrating the prototype’s operation, the students were able to develop their own code on the ESP and, using a different antenna, they began assembling a locator in practice. This project was not completed on this day, as the students were given the task of splitting into groups and building the antennas that will be used in the locator. The plan is to provide instruction to these students in future meetings on antenna construction so they can complete the project.
