I am pleased to inform you that the ED/MTT/EMB Brazil Chapter has been selected as the 2013 recipient of the IEEE Electron Devices Society Region 9 Chapter of the Year Award. This award is intended to recognize the quality and quantity of the activities and programs implemented by the Region 9 chapters during the prior July 1st – June 30th period.

As a token of our appreciation, a certificate and check for $500 will be presented at an EDS conference or chapter meeting of your choice.
Please note that the EDS Board of Governors meeting series will be held in conjunction with the IEDM in Washington, DC in December. If you would like your award recognized at this event, we will be having the EDS BoG Awards Ceremony at 7:00 p.m. on Sunday, December 8th, at the Washington Hilton Hotel, Washington, DC, USA. I hope you or a representative from your chapter will be able to attend and accept the award in person.

Please inform Laura Riello of the EDS Executive Office at your earliest convenience whether or not you would prefer to have your award presented at the EDS BoG Awards Ceremony or another EDS conference or chapter meeting.
